One lane reopened on Centerville Road in Warwick

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — UPDATE: The Warwick Police Department said that one westbound lane on Centerville Road is open as a water main break is being repaired.

Warwick Mayor Frank Picozzi and the Warwick Police Department said that part of Centerville Road is closed due to a water main break.

Picozzi said the closure is between Tollgate Road and Commonwealth Avenue westbound.

He added that the Route 117 westbound ramp to Route 95 is closed, and the Route 95 North ramp is being used as a detour.

RIDOT is expected to be working on the road.

“I urge to seek alternative routes,” Picozzi said. “This isn’t something that’s going to be fixed quickly.”
