One man injured after Attleboro shooting

ATTLEBORO, Mass. (WLNE) — Attleboro police said one man has been hospitalized after a shooting on Oakland Avenue on Saturday.

According to Deputy Chief Timothy Cook, a 58-year-old man was sent to Rhode Island Hospital with a gunshot injury.

Police say the victim’s injury is not life-threatening and is expected to be okay.

The Attleboro Police Department is investigating the shooting, and are working to identify a suspect.
