One man injured in Pawtucket shooting

An investigation is underway after a man was shot in Pawtucket Monday night.
Police say they were called to the address on Sanford Street at about 10:20 p.m. for reports of shots fired.
Officer entered the residence and found a 20-year-old male who had been shot in the groin area. He was taken to Rhode Island Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Witnesses told police that several gunshots were fired from outside the residence.
