One woman seriously hurt during Thanksgiving fire, 27 people escape
NEW BEDFORD, Mass (WLNE) – It was all hands on deck for the New Bedford Fire Department this Thanksgiving morning on Washburn Street.
Multiple homes were reported to be on fire and the fire department struck a general alarm which is the highest fire alarm possible.
The New Bedford Fire Chief says one woman was seriously hurt during the severe fire and 27 people managed to escape.
As of 12:30 p.m. Thursday the fire was reported to be knocked down and put out.
