The board of Selectman ask developers for answers after drivers complain of poor road conditions along Route 123 where a water main was installed for a new housing project.

Some areas were left unpaved after a half-mile long water main was installed in Norton.

"The potholes are just atrocious. I had cars veer into my lane just to avoid the potholes," said the Board of Selectman Chair Brad Bramwell.

Drivers say the tricky thing about the road divots is that you cant always see them but you can feel them.

Workers can’t finish paving the road until the water main is tested. It failed a preliminary pressure test last week.

The on and off detours that started last month will soon be back.

"We don’t really have a timeline from the developer. It was supposed to take place probably next week, but it just keeps dragging on, said Brad.
