Officials investigating fire at local business in Providence
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Providence officials are investigating a fire that started at a local business Saturday morning.
Around 6 a.m., fire officials were called to a fire in a single story commercial building on Chalkstone Avenue.
The firefighters on scene forced entry through the front door of Botanica 21 Division and found smoke throughout building, locating the fire in a small room, according to officials.
The fire was confined to that room.
Firefighters were also seen responding to the building where Gilligan’s Pub is located.
No injuries and no one on scene at the time of the incident.
