Open Fox Point land parcel to be developed for living, retail spaces

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The 195 Redevelopment Commission has decided what it wants to see built on a high profile piece of land in Fox Point.

Design Center Partners has been named the developer for parcel 5.

The group plans to bring 150 apartments, 25 condos and 30,000 square feet of retail space.

The group said the addition will enhance the city’s creative economy and pedestrian-friendly spaces.

Elected officials said this is a huge win for the city.
