Parade of Pink: Hundreds Walk the Streets of Providence for Breast Cancer Awareness

Providence, RI (WLNE) – Hundreds of runners and walkers flooded the streets of Providence Sunday morning.  They were participating in the 2021 Gloria Gemma 5K.

The walk/run started with registration at Station Park, across from the State House.  Participants then walked or ran a course that brought them back to the finish line near the State House.

The 5K is part of a weekend of events in Providence hosted by the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Foundation. Funds raised are used in the fight against breast cancer.
