Parade of storms continues this week
Hope you all enjoyed waking up to some snow Sunday morning. We are now up to 10.7″ for Providence-T.F. Green for the year, exactly 10″ behind where we would be on average to date.
Our active parade of storms continues this week. Let’s break it down.
Clouds will increase on Tuesday, but with storm #1 trending south of the area, we likely only get a dusting in areas south of Providence tomorrow night.
However, storm #2 is right on its heels and arrives Wednesday night with snow, but that will change fairly quickly to sleet and then rain – more messy than anything.
I see a quick couple of inches before it all gets washed away. This could make for very messy roads at the onset, but fortunately this is trending around or after midnight.
A third storm is likely over the weekend, and while still early, the consensus right now is that it moves inland enough to make it all rain for us.
President’s Day looks sunny and cold.
Have a great week!
