Parents plan to rally ahead of meeting to discuss closing of Tansey Elementary School in Fall River

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — Parents in Fall River will be rallying ahead of tonight’s school committee meeting, planning to voice their opposition to the proposed closing of Tansey Elementary School.

If the committee approves the proposal, the closure would lead to the school being turned into a pre-K facility.

The meeting will be held at the Durfee High School auditorium at 5:30 p.m. Monday.
