WARWICK, R.I. – Warwick School Superintendent Philip Thornto sent an email to parents Thursday morning saying that all schools will run on normal school day schedules.
Parents received emails Wednesday from Thornton warning of a possible teacher “sick out” Thursday.
The email said the school has credible sources saying teachers will call out sick tomorrow.
Meanwhile, the Teacher’s Union President said there is no such protest planned.
This comes after a decision Tuesday night to close Wickes and Holden Elementary Schools at the beginning of the 2018-19 academic year.
