The New England Patriots are back on the field after an eventful bye week. They’re taking on the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC divisional round of the playoffs.

"It gets me nervous but at the same time I think Belichick has something up his sleeve to help us get us through it,” said Bruce Spencer, a Patriots fan from Salem, NH.

Fans were out in full force in the Gillette Stadium parking lot equipped with games, music and food of course.

Some even made the long trip out to cheer on the other guys.

"I think it’ll be a good matchup, a fair matchup, an even matchup but I think we’re gonna come out on top. Because we’re better,” said Blake May who flew in from Kansas City for the game.

But Pats fans are feeling confident. Despite the bizarre chain of events from the past week, including Chandler Jones’ weekend trip to the hospital, Belichick’s mysterious black eye, and Gronk’s injury report, fans say as long as the team does their job, there’s no stopping them.

If the Patriots win, they will advance to the AFC Championship game. They will either play the Denver Broncos or the Pittsburgh Steelers.
