Patriots Fans weigh in on Trump’s ties to Brady and Belichick

Politics mixing with football Sunday as Patriots fans gathered for the first game following an unforgettable Presidential election.

"I feel great about the game, but I also ban any political talk from my tailgates,” said Aram Aslanian.

While some opted to keep the subject off limits, others talking about their thoughts on Tom Brady and Bill Belichick and their ties to Trump. You’ll recall one day before the election, Trump brought up the duo and their support at a rally in New Hamphire. We asked fans if that changed their view of the Patriots Stars.

"I only love him more I only care about the Country and so does Trump. Go Trump!" said Josh Rutan.

"I mean I think that everybody is entitled to their opinion,” said Julie Giarrusso. “My husband supported Donald Trump and I’m still married to him. So, it’s ok."

"I support them even more. I mean they are our most favorite people here in Massachusetts. And, for the people that are criticizing Brady and Belichick for living in this free country and voting in a free election saying who they are supporting. It’s ridiculous,” said Mike Needham

Many we caught up with wanting to keep the issues separate.

"It’s their personal opinion. Politics should not be involved in sports. Sports is always separate than politics,” said Jay Patel.
