BOSTON, M.A. (WLNE) – The 6 times Super Bowl champs are back home and soon the New England Patriots will be shipping up to Boston.
23 duck boats are waiting for them for yet another rolling rally to take place at 11 a.m. Tuesday.
With the beautiful weather in the forecast, Boston is expecting a potential record number of people.
The streets are expected to be filled with almost a million fans.
While officials want everyone to have fun, security will be tight and at an all-time high.
Hundreds of uniformed and plain clothes officers will line the streets.
Now if you’re planning on coming to the parade, the city is asking people to use public transportation as it will be key to getting there.
It will start at 11 from the Hynes Convention Center and make its way down Boylston Street, to Tremont Street, to City Hall.
Crews for the city worked overnight getting signs and barricades up along the route.
The players returned to Foxboro Monday to hundreds of screaming fans with the Lombardi trophy in hand.
That trophy and the five others will be the highlight of the parade.
