Patriots set to play in preseason home opener, MBTA running special event trains

FOXBORO, Mass. (WLNE) — The Patriots are set to take on the Carolina Panthers in their preseason opener tonight.
The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority has announced special train service at Gillette Stadium for preseason and regular season home games.
Special event train tickets for the Aug. 8 preseason game against the Carolina Panthers went on sale back on Aug. 1, but are still available to buy on the mTicket app for $10 roundtrip.
Tickets for the Aug. 15 preseason game against the Philadelphia Eagles becoming available at 11 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 9.
For regular seasons games traveling from Boston and Providence to Foxboro, tickets go on sale at 11 a.m. on the Monday before each home game.
