What a difference a day makes.

The Patriots loss to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday was marked by rainy, gray skies.

24 hours later and the sun was shining down on Gillette Stadium – a sign for fans like Kate Johnston that the storm has passed.

"I think he’s the best quarterback in history I love him – the sun is shining today because he’s back."

After Sunday’s game it’s officially the end of Tom Brady’s 4-game suspension, and the end of Deflategate…after Brady and the team announced they have no plans to file additional appeals.

Some fans, like Matt Sajtar, were able to see the suspension as a blessing in disguise.

"I think he’ll be fine because he hasn’t gotten hit that many times over the last 4 games."

Others…not so much. "I think the 4-game suspension was a joke. I think Goodell should resign."

After Sunday’s crushing loss, the Pats might not be undefeated anymore, but fans say things are looking up. Karen Richardson is one of them.

"Yesterday was really depressing but we knew he was gonna be back today and like she said the sun is shining and that has got to be Brady that’s shining down on us."

And now that he’s back, they think it will be with a vengeance.

"I think he’s gonna be mad I think he’s gonna stick it to the NFL."

Debbie Santana says, “I think he’s gonna come back and say ‘Know what? You can’t take the heart out of the Patriots…we’re gonna do this."
Brady’s first game back will be this Sunday at Cleveland.
