Pats long snapper Joe Cardona fulfills military duty

A New England Patriot is doing his patriot duty…quite literally.
The team’s 23-year-old long snapper Joe Cardona spends his one day off each week on Tuesday driving to Newport to report for duty at the Naval Academy Preparatory School.
He serves as a command-duty officer, a 24-hour shift helping to oversee the students at the academy.
