Pats fans are still floating Monday after a huge win on the road against a very talented Cardinals team.
The biggest pleasant surprise of the night had to be Jimmy G, making his first start, taking over for a legend.
He was every Pats fan Sunday night, celebrating his first regular-season touchdown…
later leading to a Patriots victory, and proof that he may fill those big Brady shoes…after all.
Samantha Scipione agrees. "Jimmy is wonderful he signed my phone…love him he’s adorable…great player."
"Jimmy and Josh McDaniels I think they’re the future of this team…I hope they’re the future of this team."
But for Myles Heger…the future is not now. "I think Tom Brady’s got a couple more years…so you gotta be patient."
Over the past week ProShop store associates say they’ve been getting more requests for Garoppolo jerseys…especially from women. But fans say they’re not quite ready to exchange their #12 for #10. That includes Michael Jackson-Diggs.
"I think he’s good for another 3 years but Brady…please…come back I miss you so much."
But until that day comes, no more Brady banner on the Gillette lighthouse. It was taken down Sunday night to take the attention off Brady…a symbolic gesture letting Garoppolo know Pats Nation is behind him.
"I would buy Jimmy G gear absolutely."
So would Jessica Rezendes. "He’s definitely wicked attractive so…I’d wear his jersey…"
