Pavement improvements on Reservoir Road in Glocester to start

GLOCESTER, R.I. (WLNE) — The Rhode Island Department of Transportation will begin pavement improvements on numerous roads on Route 44 in Glocester today.

RIDOT is scheduled to close Reservoir Road, from Putnam Pike to Money Hill Road, weekdays from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. for one month starting today.

Access will remain for local traffic, but northbound traffic will be detoured using South Main Street.

Southbound traffic will not be affected.

According to a release, the Putnam Pike and Reservoir Road pavement project is made possible by RhodeWorks and the Bipartisan Infrastructure and Improvement Act.
