The PawSox are hosting a ‘Primary Day’-themed game this weekend that encourages spectators to sit in the section of the Presidential candidate they support.

On Saturday, April 23, McCoy is hosting the first-ever “PawSox Primary”. Supporters of each candidate will be encouraged to sit in sections corresponding to that campaign, and there will be pre-game and in-game entertainment going along with this year’s political theme. Another feature: a footrace by the five "candidates," similar to the historical presidents’ race at Washington Nationals games.

Senator Ted Cruz’s supporters are encouraged to sit in the far right red and blue seats of Sections 1 and 2; Donald Trump’s campaign supporters in Sections 3 and 4; Governor John Kasich’s in Sections 5 and 6, close to the center; Sections 7 and 8 will serve as zones for those who are undecided but "still in the game"; the red and blue seats of Sections 9 and 10 will host supporters of Secretary Hillary Clinton; further down the left-field line will be Senator Bernie Sanders’ supporters in Sections 11 and 12; and Sections 13, 14, and 15 will be for those who are “dissatisfied and fed up with the political scene.”

Fans with tickets to that afternoon’s game will be able to use their original tickets, or sit in parts of the red and blue seating areas that correspond to specific candidates.

Fans who have box seats for one specific section but wish to sit in another, are asked to use the red box seat area of the latter section, while those with general admission tickets can move to another G.A. area if they so choose. Season-ticket holders and mini-plan holders in the green seating sections, or "depoliticized zone", will still be able to use their original seats.
