Pawtucket announces spring road paving

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — Mayor Donald Grebien announced that the Pawtucket Department of Public Works will begin spring road paving.
In a statement, Grebien said:
“We are making significant progress reinvesting in our roads and infrastructure. Throughout my time as Mayor, the hardworking individuals in our public works department, have been able to pave over 80 percent of our roads. I want to thank our residents for their support, and patience during this process.”
Proper signage will be posted along the streets where work is being performed.
The city is asking residents to observe parking restrictions on their streets, so that they can quickly and efficiently conduct the work. Construction may bring dust and noise, but the city advises that the inconvenience will bring better and safer roads while also paving the way for future economic growth.
