Pawtucket family gives out soup for those in need

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — Pawtucket resident Jose Tavares and his family gave out free soup for those in need in front of city hall Saturday.

Mayor Don Grebien and the city government thanked the family for coordinating the event for “folks who may need it.”

“It’s always important to give back to those who needed it most, especially around the holidays,” Grebien said.
