An early morning fire in Pawtucket caused serious issues for firefighters.

Flames broke out in the Thornton St. home early Tuesday morning, and multiple crews were called in to help.

The cold weather and icy roads made the job much tougher for firefighters.

A partial collapse on the 3rd floor forced crews out for a moment to reassess how they would tackle the flames, and crews had to shut off gas to the building.

A neighbor tells ABC6 that he heard everyone made it out OK.
