Pawtucket man found guilty for molesting 2 children

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — A Pawtucket man has been found guilty for molesting two children between 2010 and 2012, according to Attorney General Peter Neronha.

29-year-old Edwin Martinez was found guilty of three counts of first-degree child molestation and three counts of second-degree child molestation.

According to Attorney General Peter Neronha, Martinez sexually assaulted a female juvenile victim and male juvenile victim between 2010 and 2012.

Officials said the female juvenile victim was molested on multiple occasions.

The Attorney General’s office said Martinez knew both of the victims, and the assaults occurred in homes in Pawtucket.

Martinez is scheduled to be sentenced on Sept. 29.
