Pawtucket man held without bail in connection to fatal stabbing in Cumberland

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — A Pawtucket man who is charged with murder in connection to the stabbing death of a man known to him was held without bail after his arraignment on Wednesday.

According to court documents, Robert “Bo” Perry, 34, stabbed Otis Diggs, 38, with a weapon on Saturday, Sept. 23, after an altercation broke out between them.

Police said they apprehended Perry in Warwick, Tuesday afternoon. He is known to police as a repeat offender with a lengthy criminal history in both Rhode Island and Massachusetts.

Officials said there were multiple witnesses to the altercation who are still in the process of being interviewed.
