NORWICH, Conn. (WLNE) — A 30-year-old man from Rhode Island is hospitalized after a serious crash in Norwich, Connecticut.
The two-car crash happened Tuesday afternoon on route 6 east when Connecticut State Police say two men from Pawtucket pulled over to change the car’s tire.
Both men were standing outside of the Toyota Camry in the shoulder of the road when a Nissan Altima, driven by a 25-year-old man from West Hartford, hit one of the men and the Camry.
Immediately after the crash, the Camry burst into flames and one of the Pawtucket men was seriously injured.
