Pawtucket Police arrest 2 involved in robbery

The Pawtucket Police Department arrest two people who allegedly robbed someone at a near by residence.

Officials say a man waved a Police Officer down on the corner of Lonsdale Avenue and Centre Street on April 17 at 12:40 am who said he was robbed at a near by home.

The victim said he agreed online to meet up with an 18 year old female friend at her house on Coleman Street.

After arriving she asked the victim to leave. As he was leaving two men approached the victim stating they had a firearm took his money, two pairs of sneakers and a cell phone.

Police Officers went to the Coleman Street address and took a few individuals into custody for further investigation.

Alejandra Hernandez, 18, of Pawtucket and Jamil Gray, 21, of Johnston were arrested and charged with First Degree Robbery and Conspiracy to Commit Robbery.

They will be arraigned today at the District Court.

Officials did not find a gun and are still investigating the third suspect.  

The male victim’s name has not been released.
