Pawtucket police arrest 4 in connection with drug trafficking

PAWTCUKET, R.I. (WLNE) — The Pawtucket Police Department said that its Narcotics Unit arrested four men in connection with a cocaine distribution operation.

Carlos Depina, Jr., age 27, Mason Depina, age 25, Ebrima Jatta, age 26, and Jovon Depina, age 26, were each arrested at an East Street residence by Pawtucket police alongside the Rhode Island State Police Tactical Team and a K-9 unit after allegedly taking part in a cocaine distribution operation.

Each man is facing several charges including manufacturing, possession of, and delivering cocaine, as well as maintaining a common nuisance and conspiracy.

During the arrest police seized an illegal firearm, ammunition, approximately two-and-a-half ounces of suspected cocaine, drug dealing items, and almost $2,400 in cash.

The department added that the investigation is ongoing.
