Pawtucket Police arrest suspect in homicide investigation

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — The Pawtucket Police Department said that it arrested a suspect in connection with the shooting death of 42-year-old Larry Rose on June 24.

47-year-old Kenji Ingram, of Providence, was charged with murder in the first degree, discharge of a firearm when committing a crime of violence, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, carrying a pistol without a license, firing in a compact area, manufacturing/selling/possession with intent to manufacture/sell cocaine, manufacturing/delivering/possession with intent to manufacture/deliver a controlled substance, and disorderly conduct.

Officers responded to a report of shots fired on Broad Street and found Rose with multiple gunshot wounds.

He was transported to the hospital and pronounced dead on arrival.

Ingram was held without bail.
