Pawtucket police find no property damage after reports of fireworks fired from car

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — Pawtucket police were called early Tuesday morning for reports of a car driving down a residential street shooting fireworks.

Police said multiple people called the department around 4:45 a.m. saying fireworks were coming out of a passenger side window of a white sedan on Hayward Street.

Officers found what they believed to be firework debris on the ground.

Police said there was no visible property damage.

Officers said no one filed a formal complaint or came forward with additional information.

Police also did not find a white sedan matching the reports in the area.
