Pawtucket police investigate fatal overnight shooting

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — A 42-year-old man is dead after a shooting on Broad Street on Tuesday night.

According to the Pawtucket Police Department, officers responded to a report of shots fired just before 9 p.m., and found the man with multiple gunshot wounds.

He was treated and taken to an area hospital, but was pronounced dead after he arrived.

Currently, no suspects have been identified and no arrests have been made.
