Pawtucket police investigating Broad Street shooting incident

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — Pawtucket police are investigating a shooting incident that occurred Thursday night at the 100 Broad Street Walgreens store parking lot.

According to Pawtucket police, the incident occurred at approximately 7:50 p.m. when officers responded to a report of a man being shot.

Arriving officers encountered a 27-year-old male victim with leg and face injuries.

The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

According to police, the victim is not cooperating with the investigation.

Pawtucket police detectives are still trying to determine the exact location of the shooting and events that precipitated the incident.
