Pawtucket police investigating double stabbing

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — Pawtucket police are investigating after two people were stabbed Saturday night.

According to Detective Sergeant Theodore Georgitsis, the stabbing happened on Slater Street near Main Street.

Both victims were taken to the hospital and are being treated for non life-threatening injuries, Det. Sgt. Georgitsis said.

Information regarding a suspect in the double stabbing was not immediately released.

The incident remains under investigation by Pawtucket police.
