Pawtucket police investigate reported stabbing

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — Pawtucket police are investigating a reported stabbing that occurred late Saturday night.

Det. Sgt. Theodore Georgitsis said that police and firefighters responded to Manton Street around 10:15 p.m. after receiving reports of a stabbing.

Georgitsis added that department detectives were called in to “further the investigation” and that more information would be released at a “later time.”

This was the second reported stabbing to occur in Rhode Island on Saturday.
