Pawtucket Police investigating shooting

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — The Pawtucket Police Department said detectives are investigating after a shooting Wednesday night.

Officers responded to a residence off Pleasant Street around 8:45 p.m. for reports of a man with a gunshot wound.

At the scene, officers found the victim, who was taken to a local hospital.

The shooting remains under investigation.
