Pawtucket Police Looking to Identify Robbery Suspect

PAWTUCKET, R.I (WLNE) – The Pawtucket Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that happened Sunday night.

Police say the robbery occurred at Newport express at approximately 9:30 pm

According to the department, The suspect in the robbery mentioned having a firearm but none was seen or shown.

However, he did brandish a knife, police say.

The suspect fled on foot prior to police arrival.
