Pawtucket Police searching for suspect after shooting of 20-year-old

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — The Pawtucket Police Department said it is investigating a shooting that occurred on March 7.

Police responded to the area of Randall Street and Pine Street around 7 p.m. to find a 20-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound.

The man was transported to the hospital with what were believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.

The department said that both the victim and his friends refused to cooperate with detectives.
