Pawtucket shooting suspect arrested in North Attleboro

An arrest has been made in one of the shootings that took place in Pawtucket last month.

Police in Pawtucket and North Attleboro, with assistance from the US Marshall Service, arrested 23-year-old Brian Rodenas in North Attleboro on Wednesday. He was arrested in North Attleboro as a fugitive from justice.

Police say he was involved in the June 23 shooting at Payne Park. He’s now facing several charges in the crime, including felony assault, firing of a firearm in a compact area and disturbing the peace.

The victim in that shooting suffered non life-threatening injuries.

This incident was part of a string of shootings and stabbings that happened in Pawtucket last month.
