Pawtucket woman arrested for child abuse after disturbance

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — Pawtucket police said a woman was arrested for child abuse after a reported disturbance.

Officers responded to a 911 call on Samuel Avenue at about 1 p.m. Monday.

A 26-year-old Pawtucket woman was taken into custody for child abuse, simple assault, and domestic-related offenses.

Her name was not released.

The incident is under investigation.
