Pawtucket woman killed in Somerset crash

SOMERSET, Mass. (WLNE) – State Police are investigating a fatal single-car highway crash that killed a Rhode Island woman early Tuesday morning.
Massachusetts State Police said a 65-year-old Pawtucket woman was traveling west on Route 195 in Somerset Tuesday morning when she lost control of her vehicle, causing it to roll over and crash in the median.
State Police were assisted responding to the scene by Somerset Fire / EMS and Somerset Police, as well as MassDOT.
The driver, whose identity is being withheld pending family notification, was determined to be dead at the scene.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
