PC Friars Slip to 6th in Both College Hockey Polls

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Providence College men’s hockey team slipped to No. 6 in the most recent polls released on Monday (Feb. 1) after a weekend split at Schneider Arena against New Hampshire.
For the 79th consecutive week, the Friars earn a spot in the USCHO.com poll rankings and currently sit seventh overall in the PairWise rankings.
Up next, the Friars venture north to Maine to battle with the Black Bears this weekend. Friday night’s contest will be televised live on Fox College Sports Atlantic beginning at 7:30 p.m.
