Pedestrian dead after being struck by car in Boston

BOSTON, Mass. (WLNE) – Massachusetts State Police are investigating after a pedestrian was fatally struck on Route 90 Monday afternoon.

The man has been identified as Gregory Doody, 50, of Boston.

Troopers responded to Route 90 eastbound on the Exit 135 ramp in Boston for a pedestrian down. Police found one man in the road who was already deceased.

Authorities believe the man was struck by multiple vehicles, the drivers of which were likely not aware they were striking him.

The Exit 135 ramp was closed for about two hours.
