Pedestrian struck, injured by dirt bike on Manton Ave

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)- A pedestrian was injured after being struck by a dirt bike Monday afternoon.

Providence police said the accident happened on Manton Avenue around 12:30 p.m.

The pedestrian sustained a possible broken leg and other minor injuries.

Police said the dirt bike was traveling on Manton Avenue with two other ATVs when the person was hit.

All three bikes fled the scene and left the person in the road.

Providence police are investigating.
