Pedestrian struck, injured in Cranston

Cranston Police are investigating after a pedestrian was struck by a pick-up truck on Plainfield Street Wednesday night.
The victim was struck just before 9 p.m. prompting police to close down the street between Tweed Street and Fletcher Avenue.
Colonel Winquist tells ABC6 News the pedestrian is in stable condition at Rhode Island Hospital and the department’s Traffic Unit is still investigating.
