Person dies after crash between motorcycle and truck in Bellingham

BELLIGNHAM, Mass. (WLNE) — The Bellingham Police Department said a person died after a crash between a motorcycle and a truck Saturday afternoon.

The crash occurred around 2:30 p.m. near Depot Street and Box Pond Road.

First responders on scene found the motorcycle operator unresponsive. He was transported to a local hospital where he later died.

The truck driver was also transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The incident is still under investigation and police said speed may have been a factor.
