Person dies after crash into pole in Brockton

BROCKTON, Mass. (WLNE) — The Brockton Fire Department said a person died after a car crashed into a pole early Sunday morning.

The incident occurred Pleasant Street around 1:30 a.m. Sunday.

The department said the driver of the car had to be cut out.

One person who was in the car was transported to a hospital in Boston.
