Person hurt after fire in Cumberland

CUMBERLAND, R.I. (WLNE) — The Cumberland Fire Department said a person was injured after a fire on Roland Street on Saturday.
The fire started outside the building and moved inside.
The department said one person who was home at the time of the fire was transported to the hospital for smoke inhalation.
A pet that was in the home also died.
The house was declared a total loss though the number of people displaced was not confirmed.
