Person ‘impaled’ by tree branch in North Attleboro

NORTH ATTLEBORO, Mass. (WLNE) — The North Attleboro Fire Department said that a person had to be transported to the hospital after they were “impaled” by a tree branch on Aug. 2.

Firefighters responded to a home on Menden Road around 4 p.m. to find a person with severe injuries.

The department said a medflight was called in but had to be cancelled due to weather conditions.

The victim’s injuries were found to be non-life-threatening at the hospital, according to firefighters.
