UPDATE: Driver could face DUI after crashing into home in Warwick

WARWICK, R.I. –A man that crashed his pick-up truck into a home could be facing DUI charges pending toxicology report results Warwick Police say.  

Laurence Gagnon, 47, of Warwick crashed into a home on Toll Gate Road Saturday afternoon.

Gagnon’s truck hit the gas meter, causing the it to rupture. The house and truck subsequently burst into flames.  

Police say Gagnon was transported to Kent Hospital with minor injuries.

No one was home when the accident happened.
