Pilgrim Boys Down Rival Toll Gate, Saint Ray’s Wins, East Greenwich Beats East Providence In Furious Comeback

In high school boys basketball action Thursday, Pilgrim improving to a perfect 14-0 with a 58-36 victory. Tyrone Weeks had a double-double with 21 points and 10 rebounds for the Patriots.

On the girls side, St. Raphael Academy taking care of Scituate on Senior Night for the Saints, 59-36.

Finally, in a thrilling comeback, East Greenwich erasing a 14-point deficit to beat East Providence, 49-48. Courtney McMullen scoring the game-winning three with under 10 seconds left to help the Avengers complete the comeback.
